Ostensibly, my task was to supervise the “maids for hire,” and I’m sure that there are outfits like this in most metropolitan areas, a service that sends out busy worker-bee types, soap supplies, who then dust, clean, polish, wipe, mop, and, of course, vacuum.

Mercury in Retrograde plays havoc with schedules, timing, and electrical gadgets. Perfect example?
