Steve Kelly discovered as a natural organic soap is made when he visited the Rocky Mountain Soap Company, Canadas leader in 100% natural bath and body products. How Soap Works. How it works? Most soaps remove grease and dirt, as some of their components are surfactants (surfactants). Surfactants have a molecular structure that acts as a link between water and particles of dirt. This loosens the particles of the underlying fibers or surfaces to be cleaned. One end ofmolecule is hydrophilic (attracted to water), and a hydrophobic (attracted to substances that are not soluble in water). This particular structure allows soap to comply with substances that are otherwise insoluble in water. The dirt is washed with soap.
